To underscore the importance of the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence (AI) and equip students with the knowledge to better understand its multifaceted implications in everyday life, the Common Core (CC) Curriculum Committee is pleased to announce its proposed establishment of a new Area of Inquiry (AoI) on Artificial Intelligence in 2025-26. 

It is anticipated that at least 30 courses will be needed in the AI AoI, catering to around 4,500 students annually from September 2025. We would like to invite teaching staff in all Faculties to submit a 6-credit course proposal to be taught in the 2025-26 academic year. Deadline for the submission of AI proposals is September 10, 2024.
